In a lifetime of service Ralph S. Watts has found himself in many tight spots, and has helped countless others facing life-changing crises find relief. In his previous book, Escape from Saigon, he told the story of his work to help key employees of the Saigon Adventist Hospital escape from Vietnam on one of the last American planes to leave Tan Son Nhut Air Base in 1975. In this book he shares photos and stories from his seventeen years as head of Adventist Development and Relief Agency. From Armenia to Sudan, with hundreds of stops between, he and ADRA workers have been instrumental in bringing relief and long-term help to thousands of those who needed it most. In retirement, Dr. Watts continues to raise funds to bring aid to those in need, especially in Southeast Asia, which holds a special place in his heart.
Ken Wade is the author of many books. He specializes in helping individuals tell their life stories.
